Every parent of a sporty child knows that it’s important what you put into your kids. Netball New Zealand is delighted to announce that Mother Earth has joined as the naming partner of the Mother Earth futureFERNS programme.
The Mother Earth futureFERNS programme is Netball New Zealand’s Junior Netball programme for Years 1-8 players. The programme progresses through modified formats of netball, meeting the needs of its players to ensure lifelong participation. The aim of the Mother Earth futureFERNS programme is to develop players’ netball skills and physical literacy through the provisions of quality experiences, support and opportunities.
The Mother Earth futureFERNS programme caters for over 67,000 young netballers throughout New Zealand, introducing them to Netball via a range of fun activities and games, becoming more challenging as the players get older and continue to develop their skills.
Netball New Zealand Chief Executive, Jennie Wyllie said she was thrilled that Mother Earth had increased their support to become the principal sponsor of the Mother Earth futureFERNS.
“Having a sponsor on board like Mother Earth who believes in the philosophy of the programme is an important piece of the puzzle for providing a quality experience for our younger generation of Netball players.”
New Zealand Marketing Manager, Caroline Potter, said she is looking forward to working with Netball New Zealand and believes the Mother Earth values align nicely with the Mother Earth futureFERNS programme.
