I’m a big fan of the smoothie. It’s a great way of getting loads of goodness into me (or the kids) in the morning, and it’s also a great way of using up fruit that’s on the edge of OK! I was recently asked to test the Nutribullet Balance to see what I think. It’s a pretty funky machine, coming as it does with an app you can load on your phone. Hop into it, and you’re able to personalise recipe ideas for soups and smoothies to your own tastes, and with what you happen to have in the pantry. I’ve been having quite a bit of fun with the machine – but me being me, I’m enjoying creating my own recipes as well as trying out some of the ideas suggested on the app. This Orange, Mango & Ginger Zester is my current favourite – I like to make it really gingery to fight off those nasty end-of-winter bugs.
